As YBhg. Datuk / Dato '/ Sir / Madam aware, Malaysian Cabinet has agreed to the establishment of the Water Activity Safety Council (WASC) which has been presented by the Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government (KPKT) on January 6, 2016. The main reason of the establishment of the Council is to coordinate and unify responsible parties on the matter related to water safety and reduce incidents during water activities. Accordingly, YBhg. Datuk / Dato '/ Sir / Madam are invited to provide feedback on the Draft For Water Activity Safety Council (WASC) Action Plan 2016-2020 through KPKT's OPE system. All parties are encouraged to contribute ideas and views on this issue to ensure that the Action Plan designed to be a comprehensive plan that covers all aspects of water activity safety.
